Shunterance McFerren is a lifelong Memphian, devoted wife, and mother of two with a deep personal connection to the foundation’s mission. Having known the founding namesake, Kalei, since birth, her commitment is rooted in both relationship and purpose.

Shunterance is passionate about advocating for children with special needs and supporting the families who care for them. She is dedicated to creating meaningful impact through compassion, awareness, and community engagement, working to ensure that every child and family feels seen, supported, and empowered.
