Scholarship Application & Program Overview
Scholarship Overview
The Kalei Foundation scholarship program was created to help children with special needs access programs that support their development, creativity, and well-being. Through partnerships with community organizations and activity providers, the Foundation offers scholarships that allow children to participate in programs such as music therapy, adaptive sports, art therapy, dance movement therapy, and farm-based activities.
These scholarships are designed to help families explore opportunities that may otherwise be difficult to access due to financial limitations, the availability of specialized instruction, or geographic barriers. Our goal is to make inclusive programs more accessible so children can experience the confidence, joy, and personal growth that come from participation.
While we strive to support as many families as possible, scholarship approvals depend on several factors including available funding, program availability, and whether partner organizations have the trained staff needed to support a students specific needs.
