About the Foundation
At The Kalei Foundation, through community partnerships and scholarship support, we help families discover meaningful opportunities that encourage development, independence, and belonging. Our mission is to open doors to experiences that foster creativity, physical activity, and personal growth for youth who have historically been underrepresented in these programs.
We believe children are not defined by limitations – they are defined by their potential.
Step 1
Go to the Application Page and be sure to read over the information needed to apply thoroughly
Step 2
Once the form has been completed, you will receive an email confirming your submission and providing you with a link to upload any documents that may be needed.
Step 3
After we receive all necessary documents and confirm program availability and program selection, you will receive a phone call from one of our staff members to introduce you to the manager or director of the program you selected.
Step 4
We pay the Organization directly, while you and your child just show up and have fun!

Youth Support
Having access to sports, art, music, agricultural programs, etc. can have a meaningful impact on a child's physical health, emotional well-being, communication skills, and self confidence. However, access can be limited due to financial barriers, availability of trained instructors, or geographic location.
Your donations to The Kalei Foundation help remove those barriers. Your contributions support these scholarships needed to allow children with special needs to explore new interests, develop skills and partricipate in activities that enrich their lives.
